Easy, comfortable, delightful, professional! We (group of mid-30's skiers with dogs) stayed for five nights, and absolutely loved it. The home is well equipped with comfortable furniture, is genuinely dog-friendly and HAD A BOOT DRYER. It was easy to deal with hanging jackets, helmets and leashes. It actually felt like home! We were especially impressed with the kitchen layout and ammenities. We like to cook together on these trips, and found all of the tools and bits that we needed, which is unusual in an airbnb. The bathrooms were also well stocked with things like emergency toothbrushes, q-tips and menstrual products - very thoughtful and unexpected. Bedrooms were comfortable, and I couldn't hear my friends snore. Doug was an amazing host, very easy to communicate with, and a genuinely friendly human. Many, many thanks to Doug & Karen for the excellent experience, we hope to stay with you again!

If you are considering booking this darling "Orange Door", 'DO IT!" The house, accommodations, and TONS of amenities made our trip to the Canadian Rockies perfect. Clean, comfortable, inviting- a perfect location to many National Parks and the new Skybridge park. Doug was wonderful, responsive and accommodating. Thank you!!

We had a great stay! Doug was very responsive to messages, which made communication easy and smooth. They kindly accepted our late checkout request and even offered early check-in, which we really appreciated. The front yard barbecue area was a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Would definitely recommend!

Doug's place was the perfect way to finish our family trip to the Rockies. The place was tastefully decorated with a modern and relaxing colour scheme that made is feel right at home. You can notice the pride Doug takes in this property as soon as you walk through the door. Doug was also very friendly. Reaching out after we checked in to make sure it went smoothly and wishing us well on the remainder of our trip the night before we left. Highly reccomend this place!!

Doug was a fabulous host! He went above and beyond to make our vacation great. We especially appreciated him picking up a few groceries to make our very late arrival better. Our flights were canceled and rebooked when I let Doug he said he could pick up items for us. That juicy orange at 2 am turned my attitude around. Very comfortable beds and space. We are very appreciative. We would definitely stay at Doug's place again. Golden is a gem.

Doug and Karen are perfect hosts. They are so friendly and helpful. The property is beautiful, very close to downtown Golden and immaculate. Can't recommend it highly enough, we had a really wonderful time. Golden is a great base to explore the area, and this apartment is so comfortable, well stocked and beautifully looked after.

The house is perfectly situated in a quiet neighborhood and a short walk to downtown with great restaurants, brewery, shops, and grocery store. The house had everything we needed for cooking and BBQing. The outdoor space is south facing to enjoy the sun. The boys enjoyed the mountain biking trails and our dog loved all the trails in and around town, especially those along the river. We had a great stay! Highly recommend The Orange Door for couples and families!
